WP1: Project Management
To develop an effective and comprehensive administrative and financial management to ensure the successful execution of the EFEVE project.
WP2: Requirements Analysis and Specification of components
Definition of specifications of the selected components and different manufacturing processes as starting point to measure the performance of the EFEVE project.
WP3: Development of high performance new light weight reinforced with nanoalloys for low cost manufacturing
This work package deals with the production, cleaning, mixing and integration of nano-carbon (fullerenes, nanodiamons, carbon onions,…) and nano-element on light alloys; aluminium and magnesium.
WP4: High productivity Manufacturing Casting processes
To assess and validate at laboratory-scale the innovative manufacturing processes for selected nano-reinforced aluminum and magnesium casting alloys, including the optimum combination of the technologies, processes and parts identified for each one.
WP5: Al multisectorial application industry pilot LPSC plant
Validation at industrial site of innovative hybrid LPSC technologies for casting nano-reinforced aluminium alloys.
WP6: Mg Automotive application industry pilot SCMg plant
Validation of industrial manufacturing process employing squeeze casting technologies with nano-reinforced Mg alloys.
WP7: Monitoring and evaluation
To execute a detailed monitoring in order to verify the final performance of the constructed demonstrators. A detailed evaluation and analysis of the results will be carried out.
WP8: Integrated optimization and Life Cycle Assessment
Assessment of the economic and environmental improvements achieved in the project compared with the state of the art, including all the aspects, process and final uses, and integrate them in an holistic approach to the results of the project.
WP9: Dissemination and Exploitation
To ensure the maximum impact of EFEVE project through effective dissemination of the project results and to develop a structure to assure the continuity of EFEVE after the project end.
